Budget for more than the fee. Document translation, a medical certificate, a police clearance certificate, courier costs and travel to Abuja are all on you. Together they exceed the €50.
The document set, and the one figure that fails files
The exact list depends on your category, so treat this as the core set rather than a complete checklist. Confirm against the embassy’s own list before you submit.
- A passport valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay.
- The approved temporary authorization to stay. Without it there is nothing to attach a long-stay visa to.
- Your employment contract or job offer, and the work permit.
- Completed application form and recent passport photographs.
